So she goes into the kitchen and looks in the refrigerator. The first edible thing she sees causes her to go into a very fast, light trance as she rapidly (split seconds) imagines eating it, and how that feels in her stomach, and how that reacts with her body. Her stomach will give her a &#8220;yes&#8221;, &#8220;no&#8221; or &#8220;maybe&#8221; feeling.</p>
<p>If it&#8217;s a strong &#8220;yes&#8221; she&#8217;ll probably just take that one and that&#8217;s the end of it. If it&#8217;s a &#8220;no&#8221; or &#8220;maybe&#8221; she&#8217;ll look at the next thing and once again go through that process of imagining eating it, and the consequences of that, and her stomach will give her that dependable gut reaction. What if there&#8217;s nothing there that her stomach says &#8220;yes&#8221; to?</p>
<p>Well she might move on to the pantry and do the same thing there, but if there&#8217;s nothing that her stomach says &#8220;yes&#8221; to, she might just decide to have nothing, and go back to what she was doing. She&#8217;ll make up for it later by eating something that is &#8220;worth it&#8221;. (More on the &#8220;worth it&#8221; concept later.)</p>
<p>This often comes up when people engage in one week or other weekly diets. Can you imagine feeling that way about food? <p>This article will share the 5 steps you can use to build the right mindset for successful weight loss.</p>
<p>1. Find that burning desire. For many losing weight is a knee-jerk reaction. They jump in to a plan because they are feeling uncomfortable in their body but they never dig deep inside to find that true reason that living a healthy life is so important to them and before long they lose interest in their goal.  Find your heart felt reason to lose.</p>
<p>2. Build your belief on a daily basis. If you believe you can eat well and exercise to lose weight then you will but if this belief in your ability goes down you are likely to quit. Remind yourself every day that this goal is important and that you can do it.</p>
<p>3. Get&#8230; and stay&#8230; committed. It is easy to find that strong commitment at first but without continually feeding your commitment your enthusiasm will wane. Each day recommit to following your plan for that day.</p>
<p>4. Know that you are worthy of reaching your ideal weight. For many weight has been an issue in their life for so long that even though it makes them uncomfortable to carry the weight it also feels strangely familiar. Allow yourself to move to a new comfort zone and know that you are worthy of living lighter.</p>

This article shares 3 tips that you can incorporate into your day with ease.</p>
<p>1. Get back in touch with physical hunger. When you lead a busy life it is very easy to just react and eat instead of eating to satisfy physical hunger. By getting familiar with true physical hunger again you will be able to make better eating decisions.</p>
<p>The idea is simple, right before you put food in your mouth ask yourself, &#8220;how hungry is my stomach?&#8221; and then assign your hunger a number between 0 and 10 where &#8220;0&#8243; equals starving. By doing this for only a few days you will start to get back in touch with your true needs and avoid unconscious eating.</p>
<p>2. Become a mindful eater. The more aware you are of your food the slower you will eat and the more satisfied you will stay. The simplest way to become a mindful eater is to pull in more of your senses when you eat. Instead of just popping the food in your mouth look at it first and then notice if it has an aroma, when you bite into it listen for a sound, note how it feels in your mouth and how it tastes. In other words use all 5 of your senses when eating.</p>
<p>3. Have a Stopper handy. It is easy to overeat even when you know in your head that you don&#8217;t need the food, for those times have a Stopper handy. This is any food, drink or activity that is incompatible with eating. Try sticking a piece of gum in your mouth or a few cinnamon Tic-Tacs or simply folding your napkin over your plate.</p>
<p>These are just a few of the helpful weight loss tips you as a busy mom can start using to get the weight off without adding to your list of things to do, if you are ready to lose the weight then these tips are the way to go.</p>

More than half of all Americans are continually dieting. Over 50 billion dollars is spent each year in the weight loss and diet market. This market continues to grow because well over 96% of Americans who go on diets every year gain their weight back. The reason for this is all weight loss programs have one thing in common. They all treat one&#8217;s eating behavior or eating habits as the reason one is overweight. True! Treating one&#8217;s eating habits or behavior with diets and medication will help one win short-term weight battles, but this will not win the war.</p>
<p>Continually trying new diets and medication to lose weight is a constant attack on the body to try and change the mind. The reason trying new diets and medication to lose weight are short term only, is because one&#8217;s eating behavior is simply a symptom of one&#8217;s weight problem not the cause. The source of one&#8217;s weight problem is one&#8217;s emotional state, which originates from within one&#8217;s subconscious mind. No one has ever said to a dietitian &#8220;Gee I did not realize eating an entire cheesecake was going to make me fat.&#8221; Permanent weight loss is all about getting control of one&#8217;s subconscious processes that got one fat to begin with.</p>
<p>By using external methods such as dieting, or medication for one&#8217;s weight loss goal one only temporarily displace one&#8217;s subconscious eating behavior programs, which results in short term weight loss only. Once one discontinues the use of the externally imposed diets or medications one&#8217;s emotionally driven eating behavior immediately returns and takes control. The result of this is a return of all the weight one has just lost.</p>
<p>The program process of Subconscious Restructuring&reg; (SR&reg;) is designed to allow one to make an assault on one&#8217;s eating behavior at its origin. As stated by the bariatric physician who was administrator of the first SR&reg; clinical study in 1992 &#8220;In order for your weight loss to be truly effective (long term) it must originate internally. Like it or not, obesity has become a problem of epidemic proportions, and as more and more health problems are connected to obesity; more and more people want to learn how to lose weight. The problem is that finding the ultimate weight loss solution can be difficult, especially because of all of the scam diets and misinformation surrounding weight loss. Most of them are just not accurate, and here are a few popular ones to steer clear of:</p>
<p>The Atkins Diet &#8211; you will lose weight if you start on this diet, and you will see results quickly. Then, as soon as you stop the diet, you will see your weight come right back. Not only is this not the ultimate weight loss solution; it is extremely unhealthy. You cannot simply stop having essential nutrients or carbohydrates, your body has to have them eventually. Staying on this diet too long will make you tired and fatigued, and there is a decent chance that after a while you will start to feel sick. So do yourself a favor and avoid this diet.</p>
<p>The &#8216;fill in the blank&#8217; diet &#8211; again, you will lose weight if you eat just one specific food. Why? You will get so tired of eating it that you will slowly eat it less and less often, meaning you take in less calories and therefore lose weight. However, most people will finally snap and get tired of eating the same foods over and over and over again, and then will binge eat when they finally give up. They not only gain the weight back, but often gain extra on top of their original weight. Again, not our ultimate weight loss solution.</p>
<p>So what is the solution that we&#8217;re looking for? First of all, you have to understand how your body works. Basically, you eat food, and your body processes the calories from the food. You then use the calories up as energy for whatever you do throughout the day. Whatever doesn&#8217;t get used is stored as fat.</p>
<p>So, obviously, you want to limit the number of calories that are stored as fat, then burn the calories that have already been stored as fat. Knowing this, it seems like our ultimate weight loss solution involves reducing the number of calories that we take in, as well as increasing the number of calories that we are burning daily. By doing both of these things, it virtually guarantees success in our weight loss endeavor. So, get a small notepad and keep track of how many calories you have on average each day. Then, reduce it by 10%, and stay with this lower amount. After you&#8217;ve lowered it, try to exercise at least 10 minutes each day, so you are burning more calories. Just keep repeating this 10% lowering process and until you are losing weight, but you still feel energetic and healthy. Never have less than 1000 calories daily, your body needs that much to run!</p>
